Record Notes

This is the second record Isaac has put out, and is set for release on the 25th of April 2023. Similar to the last record, it is recorded and produced entirely himself. 

"It's a much newer song than That Boy's Good For You, and the first one I wrote in London. I was noodling around on my acoustic in the kitchen whilst Mars was doing some cooking. It was one of those moments where I wasn't really getting anywhere with writing and then suddenly the chorus came out of nowhere. I had been listening to a lot of Buddy Holly, so this song definitely has that feel. I actually recorded the majority of it in my bedroom. I had intended it to be a demo but, when I had my 2 day recording session that produced the first record, I decided to add drums to it. In the end it didn't sound too bad! I was pretty much entirely recorded with my Stratocaster, although the bass is my lovely '63 Hofner Senator (although the lead guitar was re-recorded at the beginning of April). The recording itself has a very rough and ready feel but I like the energy of it.  I had a lot of fun playing with the harmonies in this one too, and I'm particularly happy with how the end of the song has come together"
